August 6-12

There is a strong demand for freight in August, which is not usually the trend. Rates are consistently staying high, although they had dropped the previous week, which was closer to July’s average. Flatbed and van rates dropped 3 cents per mile and reefer rates dropped by 4 cents. Load-to-truck ratios also declined compared to the previous week.
