Ratios Fall, But Rates Rise

Everyone got back to work in the first week of 2016, and spot market activity increased sharply. Truck posts outpaced load posts, and load-to-truck ratios declined. National average rates rose for vans and reefers, however, flatbed rates held steady, despite a 2 cent decline in the average fuel surcharge.
