The Scale Funding Steering Committee awarded college scholarships to five individuals. To qualify for the scholarship the individual must be enrolled or entering college during the 2016-2017 school year and have an immediate family member employed at Scale Funding. The students submitted an essay with an explanation as to why college is important to them.
“I’ve worked here for 5 plus years, and I love the family environment and dedicated service to others. The owners of Scale Funding really know what’s important to their employees. Thanks so much Scale Funding for the scholarships for my two college kids.” – Greg D., Scale Funding Employee
The Steering Committee began the scholarship program when numerous employees had family members in college. The founders and the committee members wanted to offer this in an effort to alleviate some of the expense for the students and the families.
“Scale Funding feels an obligation to assist the next generation of leaders. We feel by offering scholarships and internships over the summer and holiday breaks is an important contribution to young people’s education. Scale Funding is proud of its decades long history of providing this assistance.” – Daniel R., Founder of Steering Committee
