Invoice Factoring is Fast and Simple Business Financing

When your company is looking for business financing, you may have weeks, or even months, to go through an approval process with your bank. That’s why businesses take advantage of our Santa  Rosa invoice factoring programs. We make getting the financing you need simple, fast, and flexible.

Invoice factoring, which is also called accounts receivable financing or receivables financing, is when a business sends its invoices to a factoring company in exchange for an advance on the total. The factoring company then waits 30 to 90 days, eliminating the cash-flow gap caused by waiting on slow-paying customers. When payment is received, the factoring company sends the remainder, less a factoring discount.

Santa Rosa, California

Santa Rosa is a city in the state of California and is the seat of Sonoma County. Its estimated population in 2014 was 174,170. Santa Rosa is the 28th most populous city in California, but it is the largest in the Redwood Empire.

The city was home to the native tribe of Pomo, known as the Bitakomtara before the Europeans arrived. The area is blessed with rich farming land. This became a plus when the settlers were looking for gold but discovered that farming could fetch as much money as the gold would have.

History of Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa is rich in culture and history. Various Indian tribes originally populated Santa Rosa: the Pomo, Wappo and the Miwok were the early inhabitants that had their lives embedded in ancient Santa Rosa.

Early Europeans made the first visit to the land in the 18th century, and the land was deeded to Senora Carillo. She was the mother-in-law of the famous General Vallejo.

The ruins of the adobe structure that Senora Carillo built in 1887 are located near Highway 12 and Farmer’s Lane, which was at the strategic paths of native Indians tribes business routes.

Legends have it that Father Amorosa Juan named the land Santa Rosa by following the popular tradition of the time of naming places after saints. He baptized a native woman in a stream and named the river after the saint, and gave the name to the woman, as well.

The discovery of gold drastically increased movement to the area and resulted in businessmen setting up shop here in the 1850s.

The land was formally incorporated in 1867 with just a few hundred inhabitants. It was confirmed by the state of California a year later. The year 1868 is considered to be the official birth year of Santa Rosa.

Economy

Santa Rosa has good economic indices, with an unemployment rate at a single digit of 4.70 percent and expected job growth of 2.24 percent, while the anticipated job growth rate for the next ten years is presumed to be at 39.78 percent.

Tax rates in the region are very low as well because the sales tax rate is 8.75 percent and the income tax is also at eight percent. The median household income is at $60,758, and the per capita income stood at $29,890.

Tourism

This city is not just about businesses; there are breathtaking sites beyond your dreams. A single visit to Santa Rosa will surely not suffice, because the city has a rich history and ancient sites that are worth making multiple trips for. Those who enjoy history and natural beauty will find it difficult to take in all of what Santa Rosa offers in just one trip.

The Church of One Tree

If you are inclined towards faith, the Church of One Tree should be on your list. Located at Sonoma Avenue, the church was built from a single tree in 1873. The tree was a redwood tree that stood at amazing 275 feet tall and had an outrageous diameter of 18 feet. The tree was cut from the woods in Guerneville.

Cyclisk Monument

Though not quite as tall as the Washington Monument, the Cyclisk monument shoots 65 feet straight into the air and is made from 340 bicycles. The Cyclisk was one of many projects that were constructed from the fund. The massive bicycles used in the construction were beyond use and were donated by NGOs and individuals from the community. Going forward, construction projects that cost more than $500,000 will contribute one percent towards public art in Santa Rosa, ensuring the Cyclisk will be among numerous installations.

Great West End Regatta

On yearly basis, teams arrange and advocate sustainability of alternative mode of transportation. The regatta is a sequence of rail car races; contestants enter their human-powered machines and race down the track.

The regatta is an event that brings multiple people together, both old and young, to partake in the fun-filled annual event. It’s a free event for all.

Charles M. Schulz Museum

Charles Schulz created cartoon characters that have delighted Americans for over 50 years- the Peanuts gang. By the time the last of the series was published on February 13, 2000, which was incidentally the same date that Charles died, the cartoon had cemented itself in American popular culture for eternity.

The museum was created to display different characters in the popular series, and to pay homage to the artist of an important part of American culture.

Santa Rosa may be the perfect escape from the busy city life that most people crave, and it offers fun beyond imagination. A visit to the quiet city may be the greatest discovery to the world of amazing fun that you are eager to experience.
