Invoice factoring eliminates this challenge by paying them same-day on their invoices.

Another common reason companies work with Scale Funding over other financing and factoring companies in Cary and North Carolina is because we’re able to fund businesses even when their bank cannot. Whether it is due to credit issues, lack of financial history, tax liens or even a business bankruptcy, we can work with you.

The town of Cary is a booming town located in the heart of North Carolina. It is nestled within an urban region known as the Triangle, between the famous Research Triangle Park, Chapel Hill and Raleigh. The Triangle has consistently been ranked as one of the best regions to live and work in the country. Its distinctive rolling hills, tree-lined streets, refreshing creeks, small lakes and balmy climate make this town even more appealing to residents and visitors alike.

Cary is currently ranked as one of the fastest growing towns in the United States. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of about 135,200 people.  The town is also renowned for providing a conducive environment for both new and established businesses. This may explain why it has a massive presence of world-class enterprises and national retail chains.

This charming town combines big-town living with the typical traits that make small-town America so lovable. The neighbors are warm and friendly, and communities are welcoming. There are numerous opportunities for entertainment, but you can also get a dose of culture from the various relics of Cary’s rich history. Furthermore, the city is a vibrant center that fosters a diverse mix of minority communities and cultures.

Cary is divided into two sections, with the older eastern side containing the town’s main downtown areas and its oldest neighborhoods. Many of the historic buildings that make up its iconic skyline are also found here. The western section holds most of the newer buildings in Cary, including its suburban areas, lakes and parks. It is also the center of Cary’s wealth, characterized by the presence of many palatial mansions and golf courses.

History

Cary started out as a small settlement known as Bradford’s Ordinary in 1750. It remained in the same state until more than a century later, when the first major travel route was constructed going through the town. This was the North Carolina Railroad, which connected the towns of Hillsborough and New Bern. The presence of this railroad spurred massive development in the settlement, turning it into a major transportation hub.

Allison Francis Page is a Wake County native, farmer and lumberman who is credited with establishing the town of Cary as we know it today. Page and his wife, Catherine Raboteau Page, purchased just over 300 acres of land around the railway’s junction. Page named this new development Cary, after former Ohio congressman Samuel F. Cary.  Page went on to become a town developer and railroad agent. He began by laying out Cary’s streets as well as building a sawmill, post office and general store. In 1868, he also built the first hotel in the area, which was meant to serve passengers coming to Cary via the railroad.

Cary became an officially incorporated town in 1871; Page went on to become its first mayor. The Raleigh and Augusta Air-Line Railroad then arrived in town in 1879. This arrival spurred on further development in Cary.

During those early years, zoning and development ordinances were adopted on an ad hoc basis. The creation of regions like the Planned Unit Development in 1971 helped to control town growth and structure. Today, Cary is full of historic buildings like the Page-Walker Hotel, as well as preservation zones like the Cary, Carpenter and Green Level historic districts.

Economy

Cary is a typical community of hardworking individuals with one of the highest average household incomes in the state of North Carolina. This is due in part to its proximity to renowned universities such as Duke, the University of North Carolina and North Carolina State. Not only has it become a major bedroom community for students and faculty, but it is also a hub for retail and entertainment. This also explains why Cary is one of the most educated places in America, with more than 60 percent of its adult population having attained a college degree.

Cary is also known as the “Technology Town of North Carolina.” This makes for a very positive environment for business and enterprise. As a result, Cary is home to a lot of major corporations like Verizon, SAS Institute, Arista Networks, Fidelity Insurance and  many others.

Leisure and Culture

Whether you want to find an interesting event to attend, see a new exhibition, learn about the region’s history, or even learn a new art technique, you can find numerous cultural offerings throughout the town of Cary. Venues such as the Cary Arts Center, Page-Walker Arts and History Center and the Koka Booth Amphitheatre are especially popular here. A number of prolific festivals and cultural events are also held here. These include the Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival, Ritmo Latino Music, Art & Dance Festival and the Cary Band Day among much more.

Alternatively, you can play tennis at the Recreation Park of Lochmere, or golf at the Prestonwood Country Club. Children can skate or play sports at dedicated athletic parks like the WakeMed Soccer Park. You can also enjoy the natural beauty of Cary at one of its many parks, such as William B.
